It took 2+ years for me to choose the husky breed and then to find Cheyenne. I got her for Christmas for my husband (we went and got her before Christmas and just took her everywhere with us on Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Years. Lucky for us, most of our family has dogs. She is a wonderful dog with tons of energy and drive! We couldn't be happier, but she has gotten out and killed most of our chickens, not once, but twice. She escaped from the yard a few times as a pup. We have learned many things from trial and error of how to keep a husky in a secure enclosure, for their own safety They need tons of attention and lots of supervised exercise. She is great with the kids and a great family dog. We lover her dearly!
