Here at Stage Dragon our goal is to maintain the classic sheltie look in our dogs. Keeper & Nadia are prime examples of this. We have been showing and breeding for over 18 years. Our dogs have the classic sweet sheltie expression and lovely head and eye. They are short sturdy dogs, with good bone and substance. We breed sables, AOACs (any other allowed color), and white shelties.

We raise standard size Shelties (13" - 16") and Toy Shelties (8" - 12"). Please note Toy Shelties are AKC registerable as purebred Shetland Sheepdogs (they are purebred shelties that have been purposely bred down in size while keeping the quality and breed character of the sheltie), but not a size that is currently recognized by the AKC. A handful of dedicated breeders (myself included) are working with the Toy Sheltie parent club toward education and recognition of Toy Shelties as a breed in their own right. Health, soundness and beauty are equally important and are the number one goals in our breeding program. Stage Dragon is a very healthy, sound  bloodline and we do everything we can to keep it that way.
